DEPARTMENT: Marketing

JOB TITLE: Director - Marketing & Creative Services

SHIFT: 80 Hours Bi-weekly, days

BENEFITS: Full time, benefit eligible position


JOB SUMMARY

Works with VP of Strategic Growth, leading daily, onsite marketing and creative services for Cameron Memorial Community Hospital. The Director of Marketing & Creative Services serve as the leader overseeing the organization’s internal and external marketing efforts, manage and maintain relationships with outside agencies supporting Cameron’s ongoing marketing efforts and ensure all brand growth and standards are maintained. Will support strategies of Cameron’s service lines growth, provides strategic input on the over-arching marketing goals and desired outcomes. Responsible for making strategic recommendations to health system clients including marketing, graphics, photography layout, web features, web architecture, environmental graphics and wayfinding among other creative visual elements. Provides marketing and brand management direction for growing digital efforts including: intranet, external website and microsites, social media, etc.

Experience

  • Minimum of seven years of experience preferred; five years required.

Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in  Marketing, Graphic Design, Journalism or Public Relations. 
  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or similar field preferred.

Essential Functions

  • Works with Vice President of Strategic Growth and health system/service line/program leader teams to support strategic marketing and creative services. 
  • Provides feedback and recommendations on new marketing strategies.
  • Contributes to patient engagement, acquisition, retention, and satisfaction by developing engaging marketing and creative service campaigns. 
  • Leads development and coordination of activities as needed with the Vice President of Strategic Growth regarding marketing, creative services, and internal communications ensuring that appropriate structures, systems and review processes are developed. 
  • Effectively collaborates with co-workers and engages them in actively completing team tasks. Encourages clear and collaborative communication within the team and resolves conflicts with co-workers positively and constructively.
  • Develops marketing plans outlining audiences, messages and time frames for internal and external programs and announcements. 
  • Regularly monitors marketing campaigns and completes and submits reports reflecting results. 
  • Works to reduce variances in processes and supports standardization. 
  • Defines and uses review processes to ensure high quality work product. 
  • Adheres to corporate compliance/risk management/safety standards. Assures compliance with any applicable regulations specific to the department as well as policies of the organization. Monitors activities to identify both expected and unexpected risks.
  • Supports marketing department leaders and coworkers in execution of internal and external communication efforts, marketing, community relations, public relations and media opportunities, proactively sharing information to further an integrated approach to marketing/communications. 
  • Resolves conflicts in a timely and constructive manner; insures a respectful and value-driven environment for all. 
  • Provides a high level of service to internal stakeholders/customers.
