Camp Bow Wow is looking for an experienced Pet Groomer_ to join our current grooming team._ We have a large established customer base. Pay is commission plus tips with a guaranteed base. The ideal candidate will be a compassionate professional with extensive grooming experience who loves to take care of animals. Must be great with animals and people, listening to the owners requests for how they want their pet to look. Must also keep the animals calm in what can be a stressful situation. This position requires working independently, and the successful candidate will enjoy the opportunity to create relationships with clients. Camp Bow Wow has won Awards yearly for Best of Lincoln and Lincoln's Choice.
*Brand new electric grooming tables and dryers. All supplies provided.
*Combs, clips, trims and shapes dogs coats to groom dogs, using knowledge of canine characteristics and grooming techniques and styles.
*Takes care of all equipment supplied for grooming.
*Talks to dogs or uses other techniques to calm animals.
*Keep groom room clean, cleaning tools, equipment and grooming area.
*Patience and genuine care for animals.
*Minimum of 1 year or more experience grooming.
*Attention to detail.
*Stamina: Groomers are on their feet for long periods of time, sometimes hunched over animals during the grooming process.
*Outstanding work ethic and dependable.
