CAMP DIRECTOR POSITION
for Summer 2024 and beyond, starts Fall 2023
Camp Riva-Lake’s mission is to foster sisterhood and independence through encouraging and empowering each girl to immerse herself in nature and discover the best version of her unique self. We are situated on a quiet cove on Tims Ford Lake in Winchester, Tennessee. Located 90 miles southeast of Nashville and 180 miles northwest of Atlanta, we are conveniently located for campers and staff throughout the country. Overnight campers sleep in rustic cabins and participate in a variety of traditional camp activities throughout the day.
Camp Riva-Lake is seeking a year round director to lead our programs and organization through the next chapter of our 100-year history. The Camp Director manages summer camp operations, leads program planning, recruitment & retention efforts, and collaborates with partner organizations to bring our campus to life each summer. The Camp Director manages a seasonal team of counselors, cooking and cleaning staff, our camp nurse, and works collaboratively with the other director(s). Room and board are provided for when camp is in-session, including staff training and special events. The remainder of the year is remote work. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, a detailed planner, and has demonstrated camp leadership experience. Preference given to applicants who live close to camp.
Salary to $40k based on experience
