What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wilderness Trip Leader position at Camp Winnebago?
Camp Winnebago is located in Maine. We pay for travel to camp and back along with salary, and room/board. The contract runs from June 10 - August 13.
Our trip leaders guide trips in some of the most beautiful areas of Maine. We have openings for canoe trips, backpacking, and more.
The staff is comprised of about 60 counselors ranging in age from 19--70. Counselors come from all over the world and are interesting, interested and dynamic people who have a broad range of life experience. Being a counselor at Winnebago is an extraordinary and rewarding opportunity to improve your personal and professional skills, make great friends, all while having a great time amidst a beautiful setting. You will be challenged daily as you help campers be safe, learn new skills (physical, social and emotional), and become better people.
Our compensation package includes: A competitive salary, travel, housing, meals and food, laundry, uniform, internet, and time off to explore Maine and surrounding areas. We also offer an inexpensive no deductible health insurance policy.
