Computer Technician
Campbell Business machines is a leading provider of computer services and solutions in Dallas, PA and surrounding areas. We specialize in providing our clients with the highest quality of service and support in a variety of industries. We are seeking a talented and experienced Computer Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be a self-starter who is detail oriented, has a strong work ethic, and is willing to learn. This position will be responsible for providing technical support to our customers both in shop and at customer sites. This includes diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues, installing and configuring computer systems, and providing technical advice and assistance.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform hardware and software upgrades on computers, printers, servers, and other devices
- Troubleshoot network issues and resolve network issues
- Maintain systems by performing backups, updating software, updating firewall policies, etc.
- Provide training for customers on new computer hardware and software
- Maintain records of all computer equipment repairs and troubleshooting
- Perform daily backups of computer hard drives using our proprietary cloud backup service
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Experience:
- 6 months of experience in a technical support role in an IT environment
- Experience with networking infrastructure preferred (routers, switches, VLANs)
- Experience with backup/restoring preferred (backup/recovery)
- Must be able to work independently with little supervision or as part of a team
Qualifications:
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of computer hardware and software, networking, operating systems, and computer repair.
- Problem Solving Skills: Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Organizational Skills: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent customer service.
- Research Skills: Ability to research solutions to unique customer problems.
- Relevant Skills and Qualifications: A certification, experience with Windows and Mac OS, and experience with Microsoft Office

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
