What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unit Manager position at Campbell Hall Rehabilitation Center?
We are currently seeking experienced Unit Managers to join our 134 bed nursing home facility in Campbell Hall, NY.
As a Unit Manager, you will oversee the nursing care provided to residents in your unit and ensure that the highest standards of care are maintained.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of nursing care to residents in your unit
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of nursing staff
- Develop and implement care plans for residents in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Ensure that documentation and charting are accurate and timely
- Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives
- Provide education and training to nursing staff
Requirements:
- Valid LPN or RN license in the state of New York
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care facilities
