We are looking for a Surface Mount Machine Operator to join our team and support our company now and into the future.

What You’ll Work On
The Surface Mount Machine Operator uses specialized automated equipment according to established processes to manufacture printed circuit assemblies. The Surface Mount Machine Operator is required to work efficiently and productively on their own and in group situations where individuals have common production goals. This position requires training on multiple production machines and processes which enable the operator to be reassigned according to demand. Both individual and group performance is monitored, measured and reported including measures for quality workmanship and process efficiency.

You Will Support Your Team By Performing the Following Key Tasks

- Build products according to standardized production processes for product quality and performance
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Report variances in production processes and quality that vary from established standards
- Actively participate in continuous improvement (Kaizen) activities and training
- Perform all tasks as assigned by supervisor
- Work towards advancement to Electronics Assembler II responsibilities

What We’re Looking For
- High School Graduate, or GED Certificate Required
- Someone who places importance on working hard, having fun, and building great relationships with their peers

- Ability to access, read, and execute detailed instructions and technical documents written in the English language
- Communicate clearly in the English language
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out written and oral instructions
- Able to accept constructive coaching pertaining to performance and implement necessary adjustments
- Work under the pressure of time sensitive deadlines without compromising quality
- Comfortable with basic mathematics, computer usage, and aptitude for learning software specific applications
- Working knowledge and skills in general electronic assembly
- IPC610 trained, preferred

- Hand soldering experience, preferred
- Technical certificate in an electronics field, preferred

Work environment
Warehouse setting including the use of a variety of office equipment and computer systems. Frequent work interruptions.

Physical requirements
Combination of standing and sitting for extended hours during the work day; close and distance vision abilities including color and depth perception. Able to lift, move, and carry up to 25 lbs. over short distances.
