Camping World is now hiring a Collision Technician.
Requirements:
- Individuals with body and paint repair background in body/collision damage. RVs/Boats or equivalent fiberglass and paint repair experience a plus.
- Must have experience with paint and body repair equipment.
- Must be able to customize and repair RV in accordance with work orders.
- Executes work orders while diagnosing and repairing recreational vehicle equipment and structures while determining best product for repair.
- Keeps track of parts and materials used in repair or replacement activities.
- Keeps supervisor apprised of work progress and ensures that the final work. product is inspected by supervisor or designee.
- Performs related troubleshooting tasks based on skill level.
- Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers.
- Follows Safety and Hazardous Waste procedures as outlined
- Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and performs duties at company established performance levels.
Required Experience:
- Certification from college or technical school in trade field (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Maintenance, etc.) is certainly helpful but, we also consider applicable work experience
- Minimum of 1-year service technician experience or related fields preferred
- RVIA certification helpful but not required
- Must furnish own hand/shop tools
- Valid driver's license
- May lift up to 25 lbs and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending
- Environmental conditions include heat, cold, humidity, noise, dust and wetness
- Potential exposure to heights and hazards related to working with electrical and welding equipment
