Overview:
You will be part of the team within the distribution center. We have several departments that you are able to cross train with but you will be assigned to one department. The Camping World Midwest Distribution center operates 24 hours around the clock Shipping, Order Picking, Direct to Consumer, Putaway Inventory, Receiving and Inbound.
We are hiring Non-Equipment and Equipment Operators (stand/sit forklift, cherry picker, reach truck) based on experience and interest. You stay busy and engaged the entire shift. It can be fast paced and physical, but we have a team environment and support each other. We know comfort is important so the temperature within the distribution center is kept as comfortable as possible throughout the year. Your comfortable closed toe shoes/sneakers will work great, we do not have a steel-toe requirement. Kitchen and cafe area available for when you need it!
Warehouse Distribution Specialists Duties & Responsibilities Include:
Receiving incoming merchandise, Inventory sorting or counting, processing orders, picking merchandise, packaging and shipping merchandise.
Using RF scanners, computers, and handheld printers.
You will need to be able to:
Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
Use of carts, dollies, hand trucks, pallet jacks may be used in non-equipment positions.
Operate material handling equipment safely up to the height of 30 feet.
May lift up to 50lbs and/or move up to 100lbs with assistive devices
Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Perform basic math calculations
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Minimum of one year experience in Warehousing, Receiving, or Material Management preferred.
- United States Military experience; Any
