What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paid Search Manager position at Campus?
Position Overview:
As the Paid Search Manager, you will play a crucial role in representing Campus's brand and mission to the online community. We are seeking someone with strong search marketing experience (paid and organic) to join our growing team in New York City. In this role, you’ll help improve our overall search marketing efforts and serve as day-to-day lead on marketing activity for our California based degree and certificate programs. If you’ve got strong paid and organic search marketing experience and are also eager to expand your experience and influence, this position could be a great fit for you. You will report directly to our VP of Growth & Marketing.
What you’ll do:
- Be “hands-on-keyboards” developing, executing and analyzing search campaigns across all programs
- Help lead the development and execution of SEO strategy for Campus.edu.
- Collaborate closely with internal content teams and external consultants and vendors to drive improvements
- Collaborate with with leadership to set and achieve new enrollment goals
- Help lead the implementation of new marketing efforts, collaborating with the team on new creative and messaging, web content, email marketing and other areas contributing to program recruiting
About you:
- 4 years of experience in paid and organic search marketing experience
- A Bachelor’s degree with coursework in digital marketing and or analytics
- Exceptionally strong analytical skills; you should be an Excel or Google Sheets wizard.
- Experience working in a CRM system such as Salesforce or Hubspot
- Four to six years experience working in Google Ads
- Keyword Research, copywriting
- Knowledge of bid management strategies including manual bidding, automated bidding strategies (such as Target CPA, Target ROAS), and bid adjustments to maximize ROI.
- Quality Score Optimization.
- Budget Management
- AdWords Editor and Google Ads Scripts
- Competitor Analysis
- SEO experience with a broad understanding of the technical, UX, content and external factors that can drive SEO success.
- On-Page optimization and Off-Page strategies
- SEO Performance Analysis and Reporting. Be adept at creating easy to understand performance reporting
- Experience working with local SEO campaigns is also valuable
