As a Global Director, PDS at JLL, you will be directly responsible for generating, leading, and delivering challenging projects. Your priorities will lie in leveraging your network and focusing on clients’ priorities while managing complex projects in multiple sectors, types, and sizes. Being forward thinking and consistently demonstrating initiative to adopt new technologies and develop efficient processes is key to the impact you will have in this role. Your strong knowledge of construction projects from start to finish will speak to your ability to push the business forward through innovative and industry changing ideas. Your high levels of business acumen will come through a strong executive presence as you interact with other team leaders and the client. As Global Director, you will also be focused on the client experience, consistently delivering tailored solutions by leveraging the JLL platform across business lines. You will demonstrate the ability to contribute to the culture, growth and development of a team. You will have a holistic understanding of the business unit’s overall strategy and team goals. Other responsibilities: Leadership – lead an organization of 30-50 persons and be the point PM contact to the client to deliver the following services: Project Development Services, Design & Build, MAC, and Move Management. Complete all performance reviews, succession plans, diversity and retention targets, etc. Best Practices‐ develop and deploy Best Practices / SOPs / Policies & Procedures. (Industry, JLL, and client best practices & procedures), including reporting routines, financial planning model and reconciliations and fee management. Industry Knowledge and Experience‐ collect, analyze, opine and share Industry news and practices. Build a network within the Industry. Benchmarking – ongoing tracking and communication of results versus industry and JLL, as applicable and relevant. PM Resource Planning – ensure there are robust tools and industry benchmarks used for PM resource planning, including $/PM, #projects/PM, etc. Training & Development – advise on technical specific training needs & resources, with some self-leading of training as appropriate. Compliance, Risk and Contract Management – Ensure resolution of global escalations related to contract issues, risk or operational issues that cannot be resolved in the region; while managing the MSA with respect to Projects and all contract changes and deliverables. Staffing & Delivery Model – support regional account leaders and PM Team Leads on staffing, sourcing, and delivery model analyses. Global Escalations – ensure resolution of global escalations related to contract issues, or operational issues that cannot be resolved in the region. Performance Measurement Methodology – development, deployment and achievement of KPI requirements. Analytics and Business Intelligence (“BI”) – lead and champion the strategy and model (in partnership with account operations) to be used within PDS, working in conjunction with the BI resources. Able to personally navigate and analyze data and make strategic recommendations. Strategic Planning – develop and align Strategic Plans (for example: 1, 3, 5 Years). Gathering input from all stakeholders, the plans must be aligned with the account plan, priorities, and resource levels. Critical Capabilities – confirm and track the critical capabilities required within the service line. Technology Solutions – ensure the function is using and maximizing appropriate technology solutions that demonstrate data integrity. Business Development – support new business thru case studies and sharing of results. Manage several direct reports including Regional Leads. The overall PM organization is expected to be 30-50 persons. Advise and counsel the account leadership with respect to the subject area.
