POSITION: Senior Talent Acquisition & Operations Manager
Vice President of Talent
Human Resources Associate (FT) and HR Compliance & Analytics Specialist (PT)
35-hour work week, Monday through Friday
Flexible. In-person attendance is expected during our annual, weeklong all-staff summit. Additionally, participation for in-person meetings is expected at least once per year for most employees, and at least once per quarter for senior leaders.
$80,000 - $115,000 (this range is for the NYC area and will be adjusted for other localities; additionally, factors like skills and experience will be considered).

The Senior Talent Acquisition and Operations Manager plays a crucial role developing innovative solutions to attract and onboard exceptional talent, and for providing ongoing strategic and operational support for the human resources department.
Talent Acquisition
- Lead and optimize an efficient and effective full cycle talent acquisition function to best align with organizational initiatives and priorities
- Develop competitive talent acquisition strategies and hiring plans, ensuring timely recruiting processes, exceptional hires, and a positive candidate experience
- Work with Candid's hiring managers to provide innovative solutions towards filling open positions, including pre-qualifying applicants and recommending the best candidates for escalation to hiring panels
- Conduct all recruitment processes to attract qualified top talent with a demonstrated proficiency at identifying and hiring diverse talent
- Drive and develop innovative & diverse sourcing strategies through various methods to include job boards, online sourcing websites, social media, networking, external referrals, employee referrals, professional associations/organizations, college alumni/associations, etc.
- Works effectively across the organization to develop appropriate staffing and development strategies
- Work closely with Recruiters and hiring managers to deeply understand the requirements of the role, the team, and how the position supports organizational priorities
- Devise innovative strategies to enhance Candid's brand and external appeal, ensuring we consistently attract and retain top-tier talent
- Use statistics and metrics to analyze recruitment data and prepare reports for hiring reports, diversity statements, grant reporting, and retention analysis
- Manage an engaging onboarding experience to support new hires in their successful introduction and integration into the organization, including providing a deeper understanding of Candid's culture and values
- Ensure that data is captured and monitored efficiently for continuous improvement of the complete talent acquisition function
- Effectively document and communicate the talent acquisition processes and workflows
- Work closely with the Compensation and Benefits Manager to attract a diversified candidate talent pool
- Craft and champion Candid's Employee Value Proposition (EVP) to showcase our unique mission, culture, benefits, and opportunities
- Monitor labor laws and recommend strategies to meet regulatory compliance requirements (organizing anti-sexual harassment training, distributing employee notices, etc.)
- Oversee internship programs and continued partnerships with mentorship organizations
- Contribute to diversity, equity, and inclusions initiatives, projects, and programs
Operations
- Ensure the overall success of operational and administrative processes, procedures, and documents to allow for alignment with Candid's policies
- Manage the data points and metrics to effectively demonstrate and communicate the key responsibilities and accomplishments of the HR function, including quarterly dashboards, power point decks, board reports, etc.
- Strategize, design, and lead diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives
- Create, maintain, and coordinate the annual human resources budget with all HR budget owners
- Lead efforts of capturing, defining, and reporting on annual OKRs and other key metrics for the human resources department
- Assist in the oversight and maintenance of data to ensure compliance in all recruitment, promotions, and transfer processes
- Oversee the development and implementation of human resource policies, including employee handbook oversight and the communication of new mandates and required regulations
- Work with Candid's immigration attorney, VP of Talent, department heads, and employees to manage Candid's immigration plans and procedures
- Utilize data and analytics to refine talent processes, resulting in increased recruiting efficiency, interviewer capability, and unparalleled candidate experience
- Performs other duties and special projects, as assigned
- College degree preferred; equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Minimum 7 years of Human Resources experience, including a minimum of 4 years of demonstrated success in full cycle recruiting, employment branding, and new hire onboarding
- Minimum of 3 years' experience managing operational HR functions and responsibilities
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred
- Knowledge of current external recruiting research, sourcing techniques, and trends to craft strategies and impact decisions
- Demonstrated expertise in sourcing strategies and candidate assessment
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases, specifically the recruiting and onboarding modules, ideally in UKG (or similar system)
- Well organized with the capacity to prioritize the needs of multiple stakeholders
- Strong leadership capabilities, multi-tasker, and ability to manage priorities well
- Experience supporting varied functional areas and working within multiple time zones with a willingness to understand the duties and competencies of distinct roles within the organization
- Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) with strong verbal, written, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Unquestioned ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and gather and analyze information skillfully
- Experience managing multiple priorities effectively
- Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and initiative and to work under deadlines and changing priorities
- Willingness to perform other duties and special projects as needed/requested.
