Candidate Source is working closely with a growing manufacturer in Henrico, VA. This company has several openings for employees in their assembly department.
As an assembler you will work closely with your department to assemble power distribution units. The core job duties and skills are outlined below:
Job Duties:
Aligns, fits, and assembles component parts using hand tools and power tools
Mounts electrical components such as breakers, transformers, and integrated circuits
Wire various products in preparation for test and final inspection
Apply hand tools to ensure correct torque
Read blueprints and drawings
Collaborate with other departments
Skills Needed:
Experience using hand tools (wrenches, screw drivers, hammers)
Wiring experience is a plus but not required for all roles
Previous experience reading schematics and drawings is preferred
Ability to read/write English and use simple math
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
Must be able to use hand and power tools
