General Description Of Position
Canes Midstream is a private equity backed midstream oil and gas company with assets in the prolific Permian Basin. Canes Midstream operates the largest private greenfield gathering and processing system in the Southern Midland Basin. Canes Midstream is currently seeking an enthusiastic, motivated, and experienced individual for the position of Plant I&E Tech I. The Plant I&E Tech I is responsible for performing calibrations to plant equipment and controls/instrumentation to provide efficient day-to-day operations of the plant. This position must continually strive to maintain the highest standards for safety, excellence, and professionalism, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of Canes Midstream.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and calibrate gas and/or liquid meters, Pressure Transmitters, Temperature Transmitters, Vibration Transmitters, Gas Composition Analyzers, and associated mechanical and/or electronic systems;
- Witness liquid meter proving of LACT skid;
- Obtain gas and liquid samples, both spot and composite
- Perform job duties onsite utilizing a company vehicle and tools
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule, i.e., eight (8) to sixteen (16) hours depending on plant needs
- May be required to be part of the "On Call" program on a rotating schedule. These hours can be extended into weekends and/or holidays
- Properly prepare all necessary paperwork and documentation of service performed on a timely basis and submit via CMMS software
- Other duties as assigned

- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Ability to use testing equipment including multimeters, amp meters, HART communicators, Vibration analyzers, pressure calibration equipment
- Ability to receive multiple assignments and plan your day accordingly
- Strong focus on safety and regulatory compliance applicable to the oil & gas industry
- Track record of dependability and commitment to the role, team, and company
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and MS Office software
- High School diploma or GED equivalent is required
- Minimum 1 year oil and gas experience preferred
- At least 1 year instrumentation calibration/troubleshooting/replacement experience preferred
