The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Shipping Supervisor, the Shipping Clerk is responsible for fulfilling sales orders and ensuring shipments are on time.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phones and respond to customer and carrier requests
- Process products from inventory to sales orders as needed
- Fulfill and complete sales orders multiple times per day
- Maintenance of customer sales order copies
- Process shipments and print BOLs for customer orders
- Maintain records for inventory, shipping notices, invoices, etc.
- Participate in monthly inventory process
Required Skills:
- 2-5 years of shipping experience in a manufacturing environment is considered an asset
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office to include, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to communicate well with management, co-workers, drivers, etc.
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities
