The Facility Manager is accountable for the day-to-day direction and leadership of our dog daycare and boarding facility in Midtown Detroit. The Facility Manager ensures the management of customer service, operational support functions, revenue management, expense management, and overall facility functions are operating efficiently and responsibly. - Pay: $50,000-$60,000/year

Schedule: This full-time position includes 2 weekends a month and rotating holidays. Typically AM shifts start between 6am - 8am and PM shifts start between 12-2pm. Shifts are approximately 8-9 hours long.

- Oversee facility operations in coordination with Pet Care Manager and Client Experience Manager
- Demonstrate leadership presence and extensive knowledge of operations within the facility
- Ensure the standard operating procedures, care obligations and top cleaning standards are upheld and coach staff to meet these standards
- Create a workplace where employees feel engaged and valued, including completion of 1:1 meetings, video coaching, ongoing recognition, handling of employee relations, overseeing career development.
- Coordinate staff training, including new hire training, oversight of trainees' development and execution of assessments to be performed for advancing employees based on defined career path
- Accurate and timely reporting of all results, measurements, issues and data requested by leadership or scorecard metrics
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers
- Conduct interviews and assessments for open positions as needed
- Create and oversee facility schedule
- All other duties as assigned by the Director or Operations, Director of Client Experience and leadership team to achieve desired corporate objectives

Post education or degree preferred

Minimum of 4 years of supervisor/management experience

Minimum of 3 years of client service experience
- Minimum of 3 years of dog care/animal care experience

Strong computer skills including being proficient in Google Workplace and Microsoft Office

Ability to meet the physical demands of the role, which include the ability to sit, stand for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours), reach, climb, bend, run and lift 50 lbs.

Ability to work flexible schedules (including weekends and up to 40 hours per week), reliable transportation and be over 18 years old.

Passion for dogs and knowledge of dog behavior
