Warehouse Manager

We are seeking a reliable individual to manage all warehouse activities. This includes managing the warehouse and ensuring the receipt, coordination, and safety of goods coming through a warehouse. The supervisor also ensures that orders arrive and are dispatched on time to the appropriate destinations and in the expected quantities. The individual also supervises warehouse personnel.

• Ability to operate a manual/powered pallet jack or lift product
• Ensure proper maintenance of facility, equipment, and tools, to Company standards and OSHA compliance
• Establish standard and emergency operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping of products and materials.
• Plan, develop, and implement warehouse safety and security programs and activities.
• Review work orders, report consumption, and discuss forecasts with management to ensure smooth warehouse operations
• Supervise and motivate team of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials.
• Develop and implement plans for facility modification or expansion, such as equipment purchase or changes in space allocation or structural design.
• Schedule pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials.
• Prepare or direct preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations maintenance and safety manuals.
• Ensure delivery schedules meet the needs of both internal and external customers
• Coordinate and maintain transfers between locations.
• Perform inventory audits
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Base Requirements:

• 3 years in managing warehouse operations, preferably for an e-commerce business or ideally within a multi-client warehousing environment
• Working knowledge of warehousing operations, inventory, receiving, and order processing.
• Experience packing, labeling, and shipping large cartons or pallets with LTL/Freight companies.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be able to utilize pallet jacks and forklifts to move pallets and boxes.
• Must have a forklift certification or be willing to obtain one after hire.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and inclement weather.
• Establish a process and set policies for a warehouse that current has not policies or processes
• Recommend vendors for software implementation and handle that project from A to Z

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Warehouse management: 3 years (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
