Kitting Clerk

What you’ll be doing:

As the Warehouse Clerk you will be responsible for managing inventory in multiple locations and for replenishment of supplies in processing. Responsibilities include scheduling inbound freight to comply with warehouse operations and capacities, receiving, verifying and storing goods from suppliers and ensuring that inbound orders are properly accounted for in the company’s records, loading and unloading trucks, maintaining accurate records of all inventories and cycle-counting. You will use various systems to create replenishment plans, to manage inventory and to reconcile inventory levels as needed.  This position is physical and requires that boxes be moved to and from shelves. This position includes driving a truck to move goods between facilities

As the Warehouse Clerk, you will:

• Ensure the accuracy of receiving documents as well as gather and maintain all data and records related to receiving activities
• Enter data into systems (WMS / ERP / Accounting)
• Count inventory and compare findings to the system of record
• Make recommendations for inventory adjustments and inventory moves
• Reconcile actual inventories to system of record and conduct re-counts as needed
• Count inventory in multiple locations
• Re-supply processing with supplies based on production schedule
• Provide detailed briefs to the Inventory Control Specialist and the Logistics and Distribution Manager
• Participate in cycle counting and annual inventory counts

Your experience and skills include:

• Associates degree preferred; Associates preferred
• A background in warehouse work and/or inventory control
• Must be able to read, count accurately, do simple math (add, subtract, multiply) and write legibly
• Must have knowledge of inventory management procedures and general warehousing terminology and practices
• Skills in mathematics, personal computers and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
• Forklift experience required.
