The Attorney will contribute to the strategic goals of the organization and be responsible for drafting and reviewing a variety of agreements such as mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, managed care, MSO and IPA agreements, vendor contracts, licensing agreements, real property leases, space sharing agreements, employment agreements, research contracts, services agreements, etc. The Attorney will also be responsible for providing guidance on a variety of legal matters brought to the Chief Legal Officer and other Executives, including, in connection with physician arrangements, access to care, conflicts of interest, clinical research, medical staff relations, procurement matters and other affairs.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule is onsite M-F in our corporate office here in Doral, Florida.
- 3-5 years' experience in healthcare required
- Advises on corporate and operational activity related to operations and providers, such as, mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, affiliations, MSOs, IPAs, PHOs and other contractual matters, including professional services, recruitment and employment agreements
- Analyze and draft complex transactions including but not limited to financing agreements, asset purchases, physician referral source arrangements and purchases of practices.
- Stay apprised and updated regarding legal, statutory and/or regulatory developments impacting the company’s business, clients, or members, and disseminating relevant legal information within the company, as well as leading business strategies that respond to relevant legal developments.
