Overview:
Provide application design, business process improvement, system testing, training, documentation, report development, data management & integrations, data cleanup, and data and systems analysis for various business applications. Provide expertise and project management for business applications and technology decisions. Collect, organize, interpret, manage, and filter large amounts of data into error-free, easily understood business intelligence solutions, reports, and dashboards to support tactical and strategic decision-making. Will provide forecasts, financial measures, volume analysis, and other relevant metrics on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual basis to relevant stakeholders. Will work closely with departments on data collection and project identification. Builds measurement collection tools and templates for reporting. Address and promote the adoption of data visualization tools with a view toward providing the business with actionable information.
Responsibilities:
  • Work involves extensive communication including, but not limited to, verbal, written, and electronic, interaction, and collaboration with people daily to provide exemplary service.
  • Monitors metrics from operations for efficiency and quality of service.
  • Develop and implement data collection systems and assist with development of extract-transform-load (ETL) processes.
  • Create strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality.
  • Participate in data governance efforts to ensure consistency of data and data usage.
  • Works with Client and Internal Finance on all billing and forecasting processes.
  • Serves on all Project and Process Management initiatives to achieve excellence in all measurable and quantifiable metrics.
  • Responsible for compilation and execution of department financial performance, including billing and operational performance.
  • Implement and maintain assigned business applications and provide specialized expertise and support to ensure those applications meet the instructional, operational, and informational needs of the Client.
  • Liaison with all CBPS staff functions on activities relating to operating units
  • Full stack development of metric collection interfaces utilizing Relational Databases.
  • Perform detailed business process analysis. Identify best practices needed for business process enhancement
  • Utilize critical thinking skills for refining business processes for efficiency and ROI
  • Evaluate the functionality of the applications and recommends solutions that meet business needs
  • Create or develop queries and reports using reporting tools
  • Develop procedures and performs user-level acceptance, data migration, and data conversion testing
  • Explore automation solutions for National Team.
  • Manage permissions for data entry/reporting.
  • Coordinate with relevant IT groups for technology design and maintenance.
  • Database Administration
  • Maintains working relationships with staff including identifying needs analysis, handling criticism & informing of progress.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to consider stakeholder requests and ask probing questions until the real need is surfaced and understood
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to facilitate a shared understanding of the problem, the possible solutions, and the technical challenges in order to lead the team to the best solution

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Travel required, both locally and nationally – 20%
  • May be required to lift up to approx. 15 lbs.
  • Mental qualifications include the ability to analyze and share data.
  • Work with frequent interruptions.
  • Prolonged use of computers and repetitive hand motions.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 2-5 Years of related experience in report writing and, in the collection, and analysis of complex data
  • Demonstrated experience with business intelligence/big data frameworks supporting management decision making
  • In-depth knowledge of current industry standards in business services & records management
  • Ability to manage complex projects
  • Six Sigma Green Belt a plus
  • Global business experience a plus
    Must have experience building MS Power Apps Applications
  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, MS Project, Access, Teams, Power BI, and Power Platforms.
  • Especially Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint is a must, including Macros and VBA.
  • Must have knowledge in Database Administration (Relational)
  • Must have strong experience with the following:
    o Microsoft Access/VBA
    o SharePoint
    o Power Apps
    o Power Flow
    o Power BI
    o MS CDS
  • Experience welcome for the following
o Some SQL - Database experience
o AWS/Azure
o API
o Python
o JavaScript/other markup language
o MicroStrategy
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Creative, innovative, and strategic thinking skills
  • Must be dependable, reliable, detail oriented with good organizational skills as well as self-initiative
