What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Pricing Analyst position at Canon U.S.A., Inc.?
Overview: The Associate Pricing Analyst will act as a supporting role to the Senior Pricing Analyst. They will work with the Sales teams, Bid/Contract teams, Administration and Management to formulate the best pricing response in a timely manner. They will analyze various price requests from the field and make recommendations to management for all price requests. In addition, this role will be required to support the maintenance of all existing contract pricing. They will carry out routine and semi-routine tasks, such as but not limited to various reporting functions, database maintenance and PowerPoint presentations. This position is full time and offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday and an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs. Responsibilities: - Ensure pricing issues are handled in a timely and efficient manner. - Analyze price requests in various profit scenarios. - Perform competitive analysis to suggest the best pricing. - Acquire a knowledge of Canon products, pricing and promotions. - Consult with Canon USA’s Sales organization to ensure competitiveness in prices. Qualifications: PLEASE NOTE: We comply with all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, orders and mandates, including those we may be required to follow as a federal government contractor/subcontractor. - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience required, plus 0 to 2 years of related experience. - Heavy use of Microsoft Excel at expert level (v-look-ups, pivot tables, etc.) - Candidate should have strong analytic skills and be a self-starter. - Candidate must be flexible, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment. - Must have good planning and organizational skills. - Good written and verbal communication, as well as relationship building abilities. - Ability to succeed in a fast paced work environment and prioritize to meet deadlines.
