WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Cantoni's elite design team has an immediate opening for a Design Assistant in our Dallas Showroom. This person needs to be creative with high energy and outstanding communication and technical skills, a superior sense of style, and a passion for outstanding work. If you have a flair for interior design, good color sense, are highly motivated, energetic and would like to work for the leading contemporary home furnishings and design studio in Dallas, then we would like to speak with you. RESPONSIBILITIES:

Entry level position that supports the design consultants with visualizations

Assist design consultants with preparing floor plans on AutoCAD and design presentations

Customer service experience, must have ability to conduct yourself in a professional and courteous manner when interacting with the public

Learn Cantoni’s products and services offered

Deliver results with a positive attitude

Maintain the resource and sample areas

Excellent opportunity for advancement to a design consultant

Perform other duties as required or assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory

Interior design experience - 1 years

High End Furniture sales experience a plus

AutoCAD experience – 1 years

Microsoft Office Suite experience – 1 years

Strong communication skills written and verbal

Strong and proven interpersonal communication skills with ability to persuade others

Highly organized, efficient, detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy

Ability to work well within a team as well as work independently

Job Type: Full-time, In-person

Salary: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour depending on experience and skills
