As a User Experience (UX) Technical Lead at Canyon Ranch, you will be responsible for leading our UX design and research initiatives within the Technology team.
You will play a critical role in ensuring that our digital products provide exceptional user experiences, align with our business objectives, and meet the needs of our customers.
This position involves both strategic planning and hands-on UX work.
Responsibilities
Essential Functions and Duties include:
- Strategy Development & Execution: Develop and execute a comprehensive UX strategy within our technology team, that aligns with the company's goals and enhances the overall user experience of our products.
- Vendor Supervision: Oversee an external team of technical UX designers, providing priorities, feedback and tracking delivery.
- User Research & Analysis: Conduct user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gain insights into user behavior, preferences, and pain points.
- Architecture Management: Define and optimize information architecture, ensuring that our digital products are organized and structured in an intuitive and user-friendly manner.
- Design Guideline Development & Management: Establish and maintain design guidelines, patterns, and best practices to ensure a consistent and cohesive user experience across all products. Create wireframes, prototypes, and design concepts that translate user needs and business requirements into intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure that UX considerations are integrated into the product development process.
- Compliance: Ensure that digital products comply with accessibility standards to make them inclusive and usable by all.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in UX and incorporate them into our processes.
Qualifications
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
- Prior knowledge of the position with 3-5 years previous experience in same or related field.
- Education: Associate degree or two-year equivalent specialized training or experience required.
- Technical: Proficiency in industry-standard UX design tool Figma and Jira for project tracking are required.
- High level of organization and attention to detail
