CREW LEAD

Canyon Ridge Services, LLC. - Landscaping Division is looking for Crew Lead candidates with extensive experience in both production and full custom residential and commercial landscaping. We have immediate positions available for individuals with excellent work ethic, sense of urgency, and high standards for quality, efficiency, and a sense of ownership.

Compensation depending on experience: $17.00/hr. – $20/hr.

DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES

• This is a working leadership role.
• Relentless pursuit of the highest standard of Customer Service.
• Responsible for maintaining a culture of cooperation, respect, and teamwork.
• Responsible for monitoring crews’ daily production rates, quality control, and safety.
• Responsible for maintaining and upkeeping of company equipment.
• Daily tailgate safety meetings and vehicle inspections.
• Daily log reports.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 3 years of experience supervising and directing landscaping crews.
• Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience installing pavers, travertine, and porcelain pavers a plus.
• 3 years minimum experience with landscaping, irrigation and troubleshooting, patios, pool decking, driveways, water and fire features, shade structures, construction, and related trades.
• Experience driving/operating trucks with trailers, skid steers, and other landscaping equipment.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License with an insurable driving record.

KNOWLDEGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Regular and predictable attendance and punctuality required.
• Knowledge of local plants and identification, plant care, and maintenance.
• Grading and drainage expertise.

• Excellent planning, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to motivate and positively coach crews to complete projects on time and on budget.
• Proactive problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols.
• Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, managers, and employees.
• Bilingual a Plus.

Experience:

• installing pavers, travertine, landscaping irrigation, etc.: 3 years (Preferred)
• supervising and directing landscaping crews: 3 years (Preferred)
• driving/operating trucks and other equipment: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
