About the Team:
Capco’s Global Marketing Team delivers Capco’s strategic vision to drive new solutions, lead generation and talent acquisition in line with Capco’s Global business goals and objectives. Our global team of 30 marketers includes marketing strategists, designers, content produces, animators, and press and internal comms experts.
Our team partners with different functions across the business to generate creative and targeted local and global marketing campaigns, with an aim to increase brand awareness, influencing the bottom line through lead generation and maturation.
About the Job:
As a Content Writer, you will be a member of our friendly and dynamic Global Marketing team. You will work on engaging projects that highlight Capco’s expertise and insights around the operational, technological and regulatory initiatives that are driving transformation in the global financial services industry.
What You’ll Get to Do:
- Research, develop/write, edit, proof and deliver a broad spectrum of content – including POVs, white papers, bespoke surveys, video/animation scripts (solutions, domain, culture/recruitment) – in close collaboration with Capco leaders and subject matter experts, external Capco partner firms and other third parties
- Using inhouse tools including our global content tracker, manage the Americas regional content pipeline from inception through to publication and promotion, carefully considering rich media support and channel optimization
- Draw upon internally and externally derived data and insights to inform future content creation
- Champion Capco’s house editorial style and the firm’s approach to content marketing, educating teams and individuals on best practices and our go-to-market strategy
- Coordinate with the Digital Marketing and Design teams to ensure high-quality presentation of content and to identify the optimal format/channel for its distribution
- Work with Capco’s PR agencies on identifying and adapting thought leadership content for media placement
- Coordinate website uploads and social media promotion of new content, ensuring all online content remains relevant and current
- Working with Digital Marketing colleagues, ensure content is SEO optimized via keyword research, assessment, and deployment
- Coordinate with Regional Marketing leads and their teams to integrate our content programs with wider brand campaigns and where necessary to translate content for specific markets
- Review the effectiveness and performance of content (KPIs) on an ongoing basis.
What You’ll Bring with You:
- 5 years’ relevant content writing experiences
- Track record of presenting technical B2B financial services content in a clear and engaging fashion to a range of audiences highly desired
- Previous experience within financial services or the professional services industry, or in sector-related publishing roles
- Familiarity with external communications (including media relations) highly desired
- Creative writer with an excellent grasp of the English language
- Strong editing skills
- Great attention to detail
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- A commitment to building trusted relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders
- Understanding of social media channel management/content creation, including best practices and which content/approaches work best and why
- Familiarity with SEO principles
- Bachelor's degree
