Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, creating a positive first impression and emanating the fun and escapism for guests that Margaritaville is known for
- Make and confirm reservations and manage cancellations and special requests
- Act as a liaison between guests and hotel management, relaying guest concerns to management and hotel procedures to the guests
- Efficiently handle check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide information about hotel facilities, amenities, other services, and local attractions
- Respond to guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally
- Process guest payments and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest requests and ensure a seamless guest experience
- Routinely monitor the presence of the hotel lobby for cleanliness and remove all debris
- Perform administrative tasks, such as faxing, filing, answering phone calls, and ensuring an organized system.
- Communicates with housekeeping, room service, and security staff
- Create a pleasant and memorable stay for our guests
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with other departments and outside contacts
- Ability to complete a heavy workload and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
- Good judgment and decision-making abilities
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in a fast paced, high energy and in a demanding customer-centric environment
- Must be able to spend 90% of working time standing, and reaching and 5% of working time sitting
- Must be able to communicate clearly with our guests in the primary language of the restaurant(s), specific to the location. (Primarily English)
- Office environment with air conditioning
- Noise level medium during busy times
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Pay: $17.11-$19.35 per hour, depending on experience
