SUMMARY OF JOB DESCRIPTION:

CAPE Environmental Management Inc (CAPE) is seeking a Project Manager to support our projects from our Honolulu, Hawaii office. The PM position will support our efforts executing current and future NAVFAC work in the Pacific AOR supporting multiple contracts. This position will be responsible for managing and/or overseeing projects to include: client relations, labor relations, budgets, cost control, schedules, financial forecasting, change management, technical/contractual compliance, QA/QC, safety, staffing resources, invoicing, etc.; coordinate and monitor project performance in accordance with approved work plans, budgets and schedules; accurately forecast and schedule revenues and resource needs. This position will be required to support proposal / bid development and may also be required to support business development efforts, as needed.

SALARY:

Project Manager $80,000 - $130,000

TRAVEL:

Travel will be up to 25%

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Science (Geology, Biology, Chemistry)
  • Two years project management experience supporting DoD projects, including experience with environmental remedial action projects regulated under CERCLA, RCRA, and/or TSCA
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible related field experience and two (2) years of experience as onsite Quality Control that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities relative to our work.
  • Basic understanding of key project management Knowledge Areas of safety, cost, scope, schedule, integration, resources, risk and procurement leadership, integrity, respectful, accountable, unifier, professional, organized, meets deadlines.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional licensing or professional certification
  • Five (5) years field experience in construction
  • Background in remediation projects for the Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal Government contracting (FFP, FUP, CR, PBR).
  • Experience leading the development of bids / proposals.
