Licensed Practical Nurse, LPN: Float PRN
Cape Regional Health System is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving residents and visitors throughout Cape May County.
Cape Regional Medical Center opened in 1950 and is the only acute care hospital serving the residents and visitors in Cape May County.
Cape Regional Physicians Associates with over 60 primary care providers and specialists, delivering services in multiple locations throughout Cape May County.
Duties include:
- Consistently demonstrates the ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care consistent with age and developmental needs of patients and cultural and spiritual needs of patients
- Utilizes a multisystem approach for the assessment and reassessment of patients per unit policy.
- Maintains a therapeutic relationship with patients/ family/ significant others while providing care in a high stress environment with multiple priorities
- Identifies and prioritizes patients problems/needs, implements safety practices for those at risk and reports abnormal clinical findings or changes in patient condition to physician
- Knowledge and ability to maintain isolation procedures,
- Knowledge of IV therapy via IV certification course
- Knowledge of medications frequently administered on a Med/Surg unit and or telemetry
- Knowledge of wound care management and interventions
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Medical Surgical Nursing experience preferred
- Current registration with the New Jersey State Board of Nursing
- BLS
