Position: Pool Server
Reports to: Pool Supervisor, Beverage Manager
Position Overview:
Attend to guest needs, including, but not limited to, greeting guest, assisting with pool chairs, towels and umbrellas execute the scheduled hourly guest delight. Provide food and beverage service, up sell menu, take orders, serve food, clear and clean and prepare side work pre and post shift.
These duties may be described as, but not limited to:
- Ensure that you report to work in proper uniform at all times.
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival.
- Maintain proper inventory of towels and chairs.
- Make certain that the beach area is free from debris.
- Closing procedures include removing all soiled towels to laundry. All umbrellas and chairs are neatly stored away in a secured area.
Other:
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel. In addition, attendance at all scheduled training sessions and meetings is required.
Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with Congress Hall rules and regulations for the safe and effective operation of the hotel’s facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
- Outgoing friendly personality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school or equivalent education required.
- One to two years in a public contact position.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs of equipment
