- Work with stakeholders to identify all ADAS feature needs.
- Set core objective performance targets for all ADAS features based on benchmark analysis of competitive landscape, translated voice-of-customer, and industry knowledge into engineering requirements.
- Create and support core validation plans for the test engineering team.
- Provide impact assessments for product/feature changes.
- Identify and resolve cross-functional issues affecting ADAS system performance.
- Support the development and validation of ADAS system performances on vehicles.
- Collaborate with Performance Engineers in defining virtual and experimental performance development plans, managed through the Integrated Test Plan (PSI).
- Ensure ADAS system calibration in collaboration with other departments and system suppliers.
- Collect objective data to quantify subjective impressions or clarify gaps between status and goals/targets as necessary.
- Develop expertise in ADAS features and support road map development.
- Conduct benchmarks on key ADAS systems and features of competitors.
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent (Materials/Chemical/Civil/Aerospace/Computer) from an ABET-accredited or equivalent university.
- 3 years of related engineering experience.
- Proficient in Google Docs, Sheets, and Pages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to major strategy shifts while ensuring work continuity and motivation.
- Willingness to support 1-2 week development trips, both domestic and international.
- Market knowledge of competitive automotive ADAS systems, market trends, and safety protocols (e.g., NCAP, IIHS, NHTSA).
- Clean driving record and ability to drive test vehicles on public roadways.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in ADAS product development.
- 5 years of related engineering experience.
- Understanding of Stellantis vehicle and electrical engineering development milestones.
- Understanding of the V-model development process and requirements traceability.
- At least 2 years of related work experience with premium/luxury brands.
- Knowledge of automotive dynamics and vehicle engineering variables affecting performance.
- Master’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $25.43/hour - $39.73/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis.
