Job Posting for Family Advocate II - Head Start - (Bachelors required) at Capital Area Community Services Inc. Head Start
Capital Area Community Services, Inc. Head Start and Early Childhood Programs has an opening for a Family Advocate II . Family Advocates work full-time, part-year (up to 45 weeks per year). Hourly pay rate $15.84
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Possess a Bachelors Degree in Social Work, Human Services, or an equivalent field
- Have at least two years of experience working with families
- Be ready and willing to support the CACS, Inc. Mission Statement: Support families and prepare children for success in school and in life.
Responsibilities in this role include:
- Ensuring that assigned classrooms are fully enrolled (including recruiting, enrollment, home visits, conferences)
- Identifying the strengths and needs of families and setting goals with families to overcome barriers
- Working with families to support the physical, emotional, and educational needs of their family
- Providing opportunities for families to become life long learners through education and resources
The National Office of Head Start mandates that staff be fully vaccinated or have an approved vaccine exemption request approved and on file prior to hire date.
Staff members who are hired after 5/1/2022 are eligible for a sign on bonus, up to $2,000.
