What are the responsibilities and job description for the SBA Intern position at Capital Bank?
Position Purpose
The Intern works closely with the EVP and SVPs of the SBA Division to manage the loan pipeline effectively. The Intern provides close support for database management and marketing efforts for the SBA Division including follow-up and assistance with creating collateral (flyers and written communication) and liaising with Bank marketing and compliance.
Position Responsibilities
- Supports the EVP in loan production and marketing efforts.
- Assists the SVP, Program Manager in co-managing the pipeline database.
- Participates in SBA Division team meetings.
- Assists with the preparation of presentations for internal bank communications and external events.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Microsoft office software suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
Other
Ability to travel within a defined market area.
