What are the responsibilities and job description for the Masters Coach position at Capital City Club?
Position Summary: Capital City Country Club is looking for a year-round master’s coach to help build our adult swim program.
Duties: The candidate must be an enthusiastic and patient motivator with a love for and knowledge of swimming who is able to refine and build our adult swimmers’ skills.
Coaching Responsibilities:
- Develop all levels of swimmers
- Help athletes and experienced swimmers refine their skills.
- Prepare different workouts for each day of practice offered
- Communicate effectively with the Aquatics Manager and respond quickly to swimmer needs.
- Help organize a team for Adult Swim Meets and put together Heat Sheets
- Attend all organized meets and practices
Qualifications:
- Red Cross Lifeguard and First Aid
- Red Cross CPR/AED
- U.S. Masters Coaching Certification
- Swimming and coaching experience
