Role
summary: Demonstrates full knowledge in assigned area and is an experienced sole contributor. Manages the cycle for projects of varying complexity, including planning, organizing and implementing to ensure the successful completion of a project. Works independently to design and develop global programs for the Investment Group Assistants (IGAs). Leads and manages projects to implement and operationalize future internal policies, practices and technology changes that directly impact the IGAs.


Primary
responsibilities/essential functions:

  • Leads and manages projects ranging in size and complexity.
    • Facilitates conversations with the Investment Group to understand and recommend appropriate approach to business challenges.
    • Creates and manages project documentation, coordination of communication, requirements gathering, deployment and implementation.
    • Performs process analysis and formulates recommendations.
    • Executes multiple projects while managing shifting business priorities.
  • Conducts business problem analysis, scope definition, and process analysis.
    • Analyzes information and requests ensuring scope, objective and requirements are clear.
    • Researches, gathers, assimilate and documents data for potential projects.
    • Documents or clearly articulates complex problems to senior managers.
    • Communicates findings of analysis to help the business with decision making and proposal process.
    • Makes informed decisions on business strategy, gaps, improvement opportunities and priority and scope of project.
  • Contributes to project office and change management team.
    • Provides input into business unit’s initiatives, department skill development, and resource allocation/utilization planning efforts.
    • Provides thought leadership to assist the business in defining or refining business processes and leveraging technology.
  • May create and lead project and change management efforts to maximize the administrative and operational support provided to the Investment Group.
    • Prepares for future technological enhancements affecting the Investment Group and oversees the partnership to design and implement project and change management programs for IGAs to mitigate workflow disruption and maximize output and support.

  • Demonstrates strong ability to lead and manage projects.
  • Demonstrates in-depth knowledge of investment group business drivers and department business plans for coverage areas. Exhibits knowledge in current and possible future policies, practices, trends, technology and information affecting the department/business area.
