HR Tech Chief of Staff, Risk
In this role, you will support and manage work on the HR Technology Chief of Staff Team. You will partner with colleagues in HR Tech and across Lines of Business to deliver results that have a direct impact on associate experience. This role requires a strategic thinker who pays close attention to the details, thinks outside the box, has strong communication skills, and someone with the confidence to challenge the status quo and drive step change improvements. This person plays a critical role in driving visibility to Risk and Operational governance and reporting for the HR Tech Leadership Team and beyond. Daily responsibilities require collaboration with a broad set of leaders and stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
Perform, continuously improve and provide Risk and Executive reporting
Analyze information to proactively identify risks, trends, and process improvements
Own timely delivery of regular monthly, semi-annual and quarterly deliverables, including research and preparation of content, reviews and approvals before delivery
Develop and manage Business Continuity Plans for HR Technology
Support the development of Risk results and reporting that drives meaningful conversations, accountability and awareness within the HR Tech Leadership Team
Proactive identify risks that need addressing within HR Tech and work with extended leadership and/or tech teams to resolve or align on approach
Work with extended leadership to align reporting to top-of-house reporting, where appropriate
Cultivate relationships cross-functionally with Finance, Cyber, Tech Risk, ORM, ES Risk, HR Business Risk Office, Audit and Power Up. To facilitate a proactive approach to and hyper awareness of HR Tech Risk posture
Support internal reporting and work with team members to fulfill requests and deliver official and approved responses and artifacts in a timely manner
Work with team to provide oversight and guidance during risk/controls assessments (New Product, Marketing, and Initiative Governance (NPMIG), Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs), Top Risks, and Technology Risk Controls Continuous Monitoring and Testing Team (CCM), etc.)
Influence partners within HR & PowerUp Tech and key business groups
Collaborate effectively with 2nd line of defense (Compliance, Legal, Enterprise Risk Management, Operational Risk Management, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), Cyber Risk Management, etc.) and 3rd line of defense (Audit and Credit Review) on critical deliverables
Participate in risk/controls forums and contributing to continuous improvement of risk management practices
Deliver ad hoc requests to support broader deliverables for the HR Tech Leadership and PowerUp teams, as needed
Who you are:
A proven track record of success leading activities related to reporting, risk management and compliance
Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously with the ability to work in a fast-paced, complex environment under tight timelines
Proficiency with the entire Microsoft Office Suite, GSuite, 1Net, Continuity One, PRIME and ServiceNow
Excellent communication and partnership skills essential for interacting with key stakeholders and Senior Executives within HR Technology and across the company to manage, inform and influence outcomes
Self-motivated, takes the initiative and has the ability to work autonomously
Ability to react quickly and seamlessly to changes in priorities and maintain delivery focus
Demonstrates excellent time management, bringing the ability to quickly put structure in place to manage work in a dynamic complex environment with a focus on continuous improvement
Employ a strategic approach to daily work, consider the bigger picture, anticipate outcomes and connect the dots
Consistently demonstrates grace, composure, judgement and charisma under pressure
Seeks details to ensure all legal/compliance/regulatory guidance are properly executed and any potential issues are immediately documented, raised and resolved
Innovates frequently, offers ideas regularly, likes to brainstorm and solve logistical puzzles
Acts with the highest levels of integrity in all circumstances and brings commitment to being “well-managed” in all dimensions of work; able to identify process improvements and efficiencies
Basic Qualifications:
At least 3 years of experience with technology risk management
At least 3 years of experience in creating executive business risk reporting
At least 3 years of experience in creating business risk presentations for executive stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in risk management
2+ years of experience with PRIME, Archer, and ServiceNow
