Job Summary
The Biologist will support the validation of Client therapeutic candidates by performing hands-on, bench-level assays involving both cell culture and tissue-based work, and as well as sample processing and analyses from in vivo animal studies. The ideal candidate will be a team player, with strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, as well as have a shared passion for delivering new therapies to patients with critical unmet medical need.
Support cell culture platform work including iPSC-derived cells.
Perform molecular biology and cell biology assays including DNA/RNA extraction, qRT-PCR, ELISA.
Help manage in vivo studies conducted with CROs, and with academic collaborators, including shipment coordination and sample inventory management
Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks, write study reports, and present data to the team
Critically assess data generated from diverse experimental approaches in cell and molecular biology.
Quals--
Bachelors’s degree with 1 years of work experience in academia or industry.
Experience in generating and working with iPSC-derived cells, disease models strongly desired.
Expertise in basic techniques in molecular biology and cell biology, assay development in cell lines, primary neurons and iPSC-derived cells.
Good Understanding And Experience Working With AAVs Preferred
Excellent interpersonal, organization skills, initiative and attention to detail.
Ability to think critically and creatively in a fast-paced, highly collaborative scientific environment.
