Job Summary:
As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be responsible for providing comprehensive and compassionate patient care in a variety of healthcare settings. You will work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care interventions. Your primary goal will be to promote and maintain the health and well-being of patients while adhering to professional standards, ethical guidelines, and legal regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical history reviews, and gathering relevant information from patients, their families, and other healthcare providers. Identify patient needs, health problems, and potential risks.
Develop individualized care plans based on patient assessments, nursing diagnoses, and evidence-based practice guidelines. Collaborate with the healthcare team to establish goals, prioritize interventions, and ensure continuity of care.
Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, while maintaining a high level of accuracy and adhering to established protocols. Monitor patient responses to interventions, adjust care plans accordingly, and provide patient education and support.
Serve as a patient advocate by promoting patients' rights, autonomy, and involvement in their care decisions. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure informed decision-making and facilitate positive patient experiences.
Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, including vital signs, symptomatology, and response to treatment. Use critical thinking skills to analyze data, identify trends, and modify care plans as needed. Document patient outcomes accurately and comprehensively.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, nurses, therapists, and support staff, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care. Communicate and share relevant information to facilitate effective care transitions and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or associate degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing program.
Current, unrestricted RN license in the state of practice.
Strong clinical knowledge and understanding of nursing principles and practices.
Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare technology.
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong ethical standards and adherence to patient confidentiality.
Physical stamina and ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation standards.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. Additional certifications may be required depending on the specialty area.
