A Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders, work orders and installation schedules. Additionally, you will be assisting with the delivery of products to the field when needed and conducting other minor field operations activities as needed. Your duties include loading orders onto trucks, unloading delivery vehicles, organizing incoming stock, and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing parcels. As a Warehouse Coordinator, you are also responsible for storing materials, picking, packing, and scanning orders. Your responsibilities and goals are to increase efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction. You will prepare and receive orders as well as move, stock, scan, and record product inventory. This position reports internally to the company or outside company to help ensure the delivery of products to customers or businesses. Install wood, gas, and pellet burning fireplaces, stoves, isokerns and inserts in residential and new construction homes in accordance with manufacturer’s installation instructions and Fireside Standard Installation Guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Receiving and documenting merchandise for delivery or return.
- Keeping an inventory of all merchandise entering or exiting the warehouse.
- Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.
- Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.
- Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.
- Preparing and completing warehouse orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule.
- Receiving and processing warehouse stock products.
- Performing warehouse inventory controls and keeping quality standards high for audits.

- Following quality service standards and complying with procedures, rules, and
regulations.
- Delivering goods and inventory when needed.
- Conducting minor field operations and tasks when needed.
- Unload and load materials and equipment on/off trucks and in/out of job sites on a regular basis. These products include but are not limited to the following: Pellet, gas, and wood freestanding and insert units.
- A fireplace installer will be responsible for the successful installation and servicing of fireplaces in new and existing homes.
- Self -manage the following on all job sites: Installation, maintenance and testing tasks as required.
- Install gas and wood burning hearth appliances (this may be retrofitting an existing fireplace or adding a fireplace to an existing or new home).
Willingness to work on roofs occasionally. Safely climb on roofs and work off ladders.
- Must attend all safety meetings and tailgate meetings.
- Use and wear the proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and wear the proper safety shoes.
- Report witnessed unsafe practices or other safety obstructions to Division Manager.
- Always adhere to company vehicle policies and traffic laws.
- Conduct vehicle sight inspection and complete vehicle checklist to ensure the safe operation of company vehicles.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Must have valid state (where working) driver’s license.
Must have a clean DMV record with a maximum of 1 point on record.
Ability to communicate (written and verbal) effectively and clearly.
Basic math skills required: add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately.
Measurements: Ability to read a tape measure and take accurate and correct measurements.
Must be able to lift 50-100 pounds regularly.
Knowledge of safety standards and fire/building code for proper installation is desired.
Must attend company safety and policy training.
Experience using hand tools in a safe and efficient manner.
Communicate in detail with Schedulers and/or Division Managers.
Education and Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent.
