Delivery Driver (Part-Time)

Job description 

As a Driver, you will be responsible for delivering medications to our patients. You will collaborate with our Operations and Logistics teams to ensure flawless and reliable deliveries. 

• Collaborate with our Operations and Logistics teams and utilize technology and routing tools to deliver medications to our patients.

• Abide by Illinois, Department of Transportation safety regulations for a courier.

• Engage with and understand our customers, including discovering and responding to customer needs through clear and pleasant communication.

• Meet company operating policies and standards, including providing best in class customer service.

• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Delivery Driver (Part-Time)

The Capsule delivery driver job is not your typical gig-based delivery job. When you’re a part of our team, you’ll work on a consistent schedule, so you’ll know what your paycheck will be and when you’ll work, unlike a gig-based job. If you are looking for consistency and stability, this may be the right role for you! You’ll plan an important role in looking after our customers’ health by delivering their medication.

Choose one of the following schedules that works for you:

•  Monday-FridayF 5-8 , Saturday-Sunday 12-3

What does a day on the job look like? 

• Report to work at the Capsule pharmacy to receive your deliveries

• Use your phone to clock in 

• Hit the road! Complete the deliveries by following the mapped delivery route on your phone 

• Deliveries are handed directly to Capsule customers! No waiting around  

• Once you complete all of your deliveries, clock out where you are! 

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the US

• Must have valid I-9 documentation

• Must be willing to submit and pass a background and drug screen as part of the hiring process 

• Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds

• Required equipment:

• A smart phone with app capability and a functioning camera for scanning

• Access to a vehicle (not provided by Capsule)
