Job description
Captain Jay's is hiring full-time and part-time Assistant Managers at multiple locations in Southeast Michigan! We are currently looking for experienced food service managers who will empower and lead their team to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Individuals who promote a respectful team environment and manage team members with open communication and understanding will be an outstanding fit for Captain Jay's. Managers are responsible for the operations of their store and supervision of their staff with full knowledge of Captain Jay's operational standards, and must be able to demonstrate and teach these standards to others. Managers are responsible for delivering top-quality food and clean surroundings for their team and guests. Captain Jay's offers comprehensive hands-on training for our managers to ensure long-term success! We pride ourselves on the support and opportunities we are able to provide our managers both at and outside of their work lives.

Qualifications
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Food service experience
- High school education or equivalent experience (Preferred)
- Customer service (3 years)
- Management experience (Required)
- Passionate and positive attitude
- Strong communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Valid Driver's License (Required)
Responsibilities
- Creating schedules for all team members and mangers in accordance with labor budget.
- Control P&L costs
- Hire, train, and assess store employee's productivity and performance
- Increase foot traffic by ensuring a clean store, great quality food, and exceptional customer service.
- Maintain orderly, presentable, and clean appearance of the store
- Oversee stock and day-to-day and long-term store operations
- Set and execute sales performance goals to increase profitability
