Primary Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm (can be flexible to support business needs)
Pay Range: $23.00 - $27.00 per hour
Job Description:
Captor Corporation is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineering Technician to support our ongoing success and reputation within the Aerospace Industry. The ideal candidate is well organized, professional, possesses an internal drive for excellence, and a commitment to quality.
Primary Responsibilities:
Ensures the availability of tools, processes and documentation used to assemble, test, and inspect products. Acts as liaison between manufacturing and design engineering. Support supplier performance.
Essential Functions:
· Provides technical support for all internal business needs
· Responds to and resolves manufacturing assembly issues in a timely manner
· Ensures equipment, processes and tooling are available and documented for manufacturing
· Creates work instructions / aides in support of all levels of the manufacturing process
· Ensures adherence to in house systems and procedures
· Identifies process bottlenecks and opportunities for improvement
· Ensures proper safety and housekeeping standards
· Participates in cross-functional improvement teams
· Evaluates Engineering changes for impact on defined build processes
· Supports Engineering during new product introduction with layout and process definition during prototype build
· Maintains thorough documentation of work, rework, modification, and maintenance of equipment
· Provides training and training support
· Support basic computer hardware and software
· Support test technicians in troubleshooting test failures
Qualifications:
· Minimum of 2 years of experience in an electronic assembly environment
· Proficient in Microsoft office
· Familiar with ERP systems
· Analytical problem-solving skills
· Strong oral and written communication skills
· Ability to multitask and react quickly to change
· Ability to read and interpret product blueprints
· Technical writing skills
· Minimum of 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
