What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Capuli Restaurant?
SERVER for Capuli, a small quaint California-Mediterranean Restaurant located in downtown Westport, CT.
Part-Time Position. Dinner Shift. Weekdays. Weekends REQUIRED. Holidays.
Server- MUST have restaurant experience.
The ideal candidate must be proactive, work closely with the owners and complete job tasks including but not limited to:
- Greeting and sitting guests
- Take orders and present food & drinks to guests
- Answer questions about ingredients, menu items, and other questions
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant and grounds
- Collaborate with co-workers to provide superior customer service
- Process payments ( cash, gift cards or credit card transactions)
- Knowledge of Capuli Restaurant's menu (including ingredients, preparation methods, side dishes, and desserts) and preparation methods
- Knowledge of restaurant closing procedures and safety regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned by management or supervisor
Knowledge about Wines & Cocktails a PLUS
