What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dispatcher position at CAR CarsArrive Network Inc?
Daily Tasks will be:
- Working with Carrier Set up Team to sell Cars Arrive benefits to new registrations. This will include profiling carrier route preferences, providing site demos, detailing service expectations, teaching self-service tools, and assigning loads from Day 0.
- Sell freight to carriers by means of negotiating costs and upselling Cars Arrive benefits. Reps will operate within Management established margins.
- Sell benefits of good performance via everyday interactions and encouragement. Reps will highlight SLA’s as most important Carrier KPI. SLA’s will be established by Management and will also be the most important KPI for reps to operate by.
- Solicit feedback from former Carriers and sell benefits of rejoining CAN Marketplace.
- Solicit feedback from current ad hoc carriers and sell benefits of centralizing and growing their operations within CAN Marketplace.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Service Teams to provide market feedback and analysis.
- Work closely with Sales and Customer Service Teams to properly identify VIP/Exception Loads.
Work closely with Carrier Sales Manager, Sales Director, and Pricing Manager to proactively strategize daily freight movement via goal oriented sales approach. Will also actively network new carriers to solicit and join Cars Arrive Marketplace.
Education and Qualification Requirements:
- High School diploma, Associate’s Degree in Business or a related field preferred.
- Two of years of experience in Sales or Logistics experience required with automotive experience preferred.
- General automotive knowledge required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft applications.
- Conflict resolution and customer service skills required.
- Ability to handle heavy phone call volumes.
- Must exhibit strong team player attributes with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
