THE JOB AT A GLANCE
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced, paperless environment. We are currently looking to hire a medical scribe for our urgent care clinic in Carlsbad. Our medical scribe will primarily be responsible for assisting our clinicians with accurately and efficiently documenting medical visits and procedures in real-time. Experience in the medical or healthcare field is preferred.

Hours of Operation: Hours of Operation: Mon-Sun: 8:00 AM-8:00 PM
Schedule: Per Diem (Scheduled as needed)
\n- Document patient medical history and physical exam
- Document procedures and treatments performed by our clinicians along with any clinician-dictated diagnoses
- Notate patient education and discharge instructions
- Alter clinicians when tests have resulted
- Generally assist the clinician with non-clinical tasks
- Recommended but not required: Practice and drilling at home to progress in training
- English language proficiency
- Familiarity with medical terminology (training will be provided)
- Computer skills, specifically iOS familiarity
- Ability to stand and be on your feet for 10 hours/day
- High School diploma
