What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tech Ops Intern position at Carbon?

As a TechOps Intern, you will be primarily responsible for supporting Carbon employees with day-to-day needs. You will be assisting with hardware setup and maintenance, troubleshooting and providing technical guidance. This role will be reporting to our Senior Staff TechOps Engineer of Technical Operations and will be located in Redwood City, CA. This position is onsite.
Responsibilities:
●Installation and maintenance of on-site IT equipment (e.g. employee systems, accessories, and audio/video systems)
●Act as the primary point of contact for other interns
●Assist and resolve IT tickets
●Contribute documentation to company knowledge base
●Participate with the IT onboarding process
●Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
Required Skills:
●Familiarity with using Dell and/or Mac laptops
●Experience with using Windows and MacOS
●Familiarity with Google apps, such as Gmail/Calendar/Chat/Sheets/Docs
●Attention to detail with following documented procedures
●Comfortable creating documentation for non-technical audience
●Interest in learning new tools and technologies
