Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment.
Manufacturing Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Manufacturing function.
Define and interpret manufacturing requirements for the production of Adult Incontinent Care Products. Coordinate the activities of production operations to create a team environment while leading results in cost, safety, quality, and service.
Responsible for the development and general labor relations of department personnel directly or through subordinates.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the manufacturing area in order to meet expectations and develop a team approach towards product innovation and continuous improvement.
- Must have good interpersonal / leadership skills and be able to interface with all departments and associate levels.
- Flexibility to accept new duties as assigned by Manager.
- Observe all safety precautions and regulations. Be proactive in addressing safety issues and concerns. Responsible for reporting all safety hazards and potential unsafe working conditions.
- 2-5 years of experience preferred
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred
- Coordinates and supervises the daily activities of operations or business staff
- Administers and exercises policies and procedures
- Ensures employees operate within guidelines
- Decisions have a direct impact to work unit operations and customers
- Frequently interacts with subordinates, customers, and peer groups at various management levels
- Interactions normally involve information exchange and basic problem resolution
