P-Mod Deployment Leader

Summary

The deployment team is accountable for leading the implementation of the new P-Mod platform including the technology and business processes for the Pharma segment and corporate functions. They will collaborate with the P-Mod Cutover Team, OCM Team, Process Teams, and Integration Team to provide direction, develop project plans, and ensure a successful solution deployment. Approximately 60 to 70% of this role’s time will be focused on business activities and approximately 30 to 40% on cutover activities. This role will work across an entire business unit to ensure minimal customer disruption and the appropriate planning happens to ensure a smooth transition to future state.

Specific Duties, Activities, and Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of the deployment team are to: 

• Define what the extended business team should focus on in readiness for go-live of solution. e.g., Manage stake holder expectations for "what success looks" like for them
• Assist in coordinating key design decision discussions to ensure timely decisions are made as the needs arises during testing.  
• Partnering with the process towers and master data, coordinate data cleansing expectations with the business.  The deployment lead facilitates aligning resources to the cleansing activities and coordinates with the data team cleansing activities.
• Develop in conjunction with the Organizational Change Management team the super user organization. The Deployment lead often coordinates Super User resource requirements (how many, what skills, when and how they will be engaged, etc) with the process team leads.
• Partnering with OCM, responsible for ensuring completion of the execution of user training.
• Owns and facilitates functional and site readiness plans and activities 
• Facilitates the determination of the “transition plan” to the new solution.  For example, should sites plan for additional inventory builds prior to go-live? How long operations shut down for go-live?  
• Conducts site readiness assessments (with help from OCM team)
• Coordinates and ensures completion of site readiness activities as determined by the cutover plan.  Examples: site workstation requirements, local HW requirements (printers, RF devices, RF access points).  
• Standard Operating Procedure readiness (ensure processes are documented, trained and followed by the site)
• Assesses current and ensures appropriate Business Continuity plans are in place.  Also responsible for planning how solutions will be created to maintain service to our customers 
• Coordinates final sign-off of cleansed data with data business owners
• Supports facilitation of go-live Go/No Go decision
• Manages pre and post go-live scorecards and KPIs and ensure transition of measures to appropriate business owners

Education and Prerequisites: Minimum required to perform job.

• BS in Business Administration, Operations, Engineering, Marketing, Computer Science or related field
• Undergraduate degree required, MBA or Graduate degree a plus
• Minimum 5 years experience with proven leadership experience required
