Job Summary:

As a Digital Learning Design & Developer, you will use adult instructional design principles and processes to support CSI Sales Training departments learning programs. Through collaboration with Sales Training, Marketing and Medical Education team, you will define solutions to fill performance gaps within the existing sales force.

 

You will be responsible for:

  • Creating engaging learning activities and compelling course content 
  • Working with subject matter experts to identify learner training needs and content
  • Setting instructional end goals and create content that matches them
  • Visualizing and creating instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Analyzing and applying trends and best practices in learning technologies and instructional design 
  • Creating exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Devising modes of assessment, such as tests or quizzes, to measure the effectiveness of the course
  • Maintaining project documentation and course folders
  • Documenting standards and development process including testing and quality assurance
  • Supporting and maintaining existing curricula within the learning management system s(LMS) .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Design:

  • Design digital learning solutions to support classroom, virtual, and on-the-job learning.

Develop:

  • Develop, and produce eLearning and digital instructional learning within LMS using various authoring tools
  • Design and develop quizzes, exams and pre/posttests job aids and mini-modules
  • Develop LMS infrastructure needed to support new and existing programs

Support & Maintain:       

  • LMS architecture & infrastructure creating new programs within the system as needed
  • Manage system architecture of curricula, content, and users (people assignments)
  • Support ongoing sales new hire curricula cohort enrollments and assignments
  • Provide ongoing LMS reporting (custom when needed)
  • Maintain LMS group structure (collaborating with IT and others)
    • Smart Groups and Learner Enrollments
    • Learner System Communication

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative working relationships
  • Knowledge of sales and healthcare a plus

 

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of working experience in instructional design
  • Bachelor’s or  Master’s degree in instructional design, educational technology or similar relevant field a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Experience designing and developing online eLearning content using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, iSpring or industry equivalent
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems
  • Experience with rapid instructional design and delivery
  • Experience designing multi-media eLearning using audio, video, simulations, and social media
  • Strong computer, Web navigation, and technical skills
  • Visual design skills (Dreamweaver, Photoshop, Illustrator) 
  • Basic HTML and Flash programming knowledge
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio and video scripts
  • Experience with the Agile design process a plus
