Maintenance Technician

CareCore at Willowood is a premier Long Term Care Community committed to providing high-quality care and comfort for our residents. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the safety, cleanliness, and overall maintenance of our facility.

Job Description:
As a Maintenance Technician at CareCore at Willowood, you will be responsible for performing general maintenance, repairs, and preventative tasks to keep our facility in excellent working condition. You will work closely with the Director of Maintenance to ensure a safe, clean, and functional environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on throughout the facility.
• Conduct regular inspections of the building, grounds, and equipment.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Keep records of maintenance activities, including preventive maintenance schedules and repairs completed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to maintain a safe and pleasant environment for residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• Experience in maintenance or a related field (preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting).
• Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Must be able to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in tight spaces as needed.
