Job Summary:
Trane is hiring for a Customer Service Representative to join the team. In this position you will be providing sales and customer support to existing and new service customers. You will be working closely with our customers, account managers, area service managers, project administrator and resource coordinators to grow the service business and increase customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for unassigned service account sales, growth, and customer relationship that involve teaming with Account Mangers when applicable.
- Assisting in estimating, customer follow up, and account development while advancing skills and creating customer base for an account manager role.
- Utilizes knowledge of service business to analyze customer needs and provide solutions to support customers goals.
- Maintain customer satisfaction by investigating concerns, ensuring scheduling of service repairs and preventative maintenance visits, advising corrective action, and communicating with customers, and co-workers.
- Build consultative relationships and trust with owners and owner’s representation.
- Identify product gaps, develop solutions to minimize the impact, and work with fulfillment team to prioritize and eliminate gaps. Understanding inefficiency within current workflow and processes to better service customers by improving process between acquisition and fulfillment. Supporting our field support personnel by being the liaison to the office and improving processes for project handoff for execution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction Science or related field preferred; Associates degree or equivalent work experience in a relevant field required.
- 3 to 5 years HVAC / Construction Experience preferred
- Detailed knowledge of HVAC Systems, specifically HVAC
- Experience in a customer service capacity a plus.
- 20% travel required.
- Must be able to perform in high-stress situations.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone and through written communication.
- Must be proficient with use of the telephone and voice mail, the computer, and other office equipment.
- Must be able to travel locally on occasion and possess a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 12 months, with no major or frequent traffic violations including, but not limited to:
- DUI in the previous 3 years
- Hit & Run, License Suspension, Reckless / Careless Driving or multiple smaller infractions or preventable collisions in the previous 3 years.

Base Pay Range: $60,000 - $75, 000 / year. Total compensation for this role will include an incentive plan.
